Hi Stefano, Welcome on board. Very Happy

I have seen an incredible GMT pcg with a light brown patina on your blog. drunken
Is it the one which was at Marlon and Maurizio?

I think this exemplar just got me crazy about this first GMT series and it became my favorite vintage Rolex by the way
    Here is mine

Hoo sorry, my mistake ! Embarassed
I remember I have just seen the light brown dial on their internet site, that's why...

    Wonderful watch I love you
The gilt of your photo is absolutely stunning ! This early series often goes to "silver" through the time imho and this one is wonderful I love you

By the way, I have a friend who has question about explorer 1.
Especially the ref 5500 and 5504

About the 5500 he ask of it really existed with an explorer dial, he has found nothing about.
And about the caliber of both, he thinks 1520 for 5500 and 1530 for 5504 but is not sure.

About the 5504 he ask about the diameter?
He read 34.5, 35, 35.5, and 36 most of the time.
He is a bit lost on these uncommon explorer.

If you know something, don't hesitate to share.

    THanks for your help

The 5500 has the same size of an Air-King, with this type of dial and 'commercialize state only in certain markets (this is from England)
    Stephano Mazzariol, l'encyclopédie Rolex 5500
The 5504 has dimensions similar to Explorer 1, I am not aware has ever been certified chronometer and has written on the dial Superprecision etc. ...

Thank you, Stephano , and François too. You are very helpful

Now I am sure about the movements who fit 5500 and 5504 .

One more question about your last pic : "Airking Superprecision " : is it a 5500 ?

And is it true to tell that 5500 have all 19 mm betwenn the lugs, 5504 20 mm ?

    Cheers
