Patek Philippe introduces an extraordinary watch model, the Reference 3670A.
The Reference 3670A creation tells the fabulous story of the discovery of 16 magnificent column-wheel chronograph movements, caliber 13-130, originally assembled and adjusted by Patek Philippe in the middle of the 20th Century. Since that time these 16 mechanical treasures slept in a drawer.
Discovered in 1996 inside the Patek Philippe historical building on Rue du Rhône, during the move to the new Manufactory in Plan-les-Ouates, these exceptional movements were totally disassembled, restored and reassembled.
Today these 16 exceptional movements are housed in cushion-shaped cases in stainless steel, inspired by the first Patek Philippe wrist chronographs from the 1920s.
This fabulous story brought to light 16 rare mechanical jewels that would certainly impress the Patek Philippe collectors and watchmaking enthusiasts.
The reference 3670A is sold only through the Patek Philippe Salons Geneva, its “discovery” place.
