This is a 1st generation Breitling/AOPA Navitimer watch serial number 868... was manufactured in 1955.
the Case, Dial, Hands and Movement are in excellent condition.
From the late 50’s, before going into the 2nd generation of Navitimers, Breitling started to produce AOPA Navitimers with their own name printed on the dial, but the AOPA wing logo was unsigned.
The gloss gilt dial is excellent for its age and the luminous markers have patina.
